THE "WHY..."
In
1973, John Cooper established his cabinetry business with the intent to bring
the best quality and price to Western Alabama. Since its' beginning, Cooper
Cabinets has distinguished itself as a leader in the design and manufacturing
of kitchen and bath cabinets. With many cabinet styles, woods, and finishes
to choose from; Cooper Cabinets will design a kitchen or bath with your
unique needs in mind. You can select from numerous appointments and amenities
for your cabinets, giving them that personalized touch. An investment which
will appreciate as time goes by; your new kitchen will increase your enjoyment
and value of your home. Thus, at Cooper cabinets we not only build
fine custom cabinets we fulfill your dreams!
THE "HOW..."
Cooper Cabinets specializes in traditional cabinet
construction featuring doors, drawer fronts,
and face frames of solid 3/4
inch hardwoods selected for their beauty and character. Behind the hardwood face frames; you will find
1/2 inch and 3/4 inch veneered plywood ends,
1/4 inch backs, plywood or solid wood bottoms, and plywood constructed drawer boxes.
All
face frames are dadoed and joined together by industrial
strength fasteners and super strength aliphatic
resin glue. The cabinets are then sanded by
hand to achieve the optimal surface for finishing.
Cooper Cabinets utilizes a three step finishing process, or even more steps,
if needed, which adds to the beauty and longevity of your new kitchen
or bath. The stain, deep penetrating
sealer, and catalyzed topcoats are applied by air and airless spray gun techniques
allowing the smoothest and most even finish to be achieved. Drawers open
and close with ease by utilizing nylon ball bearing rollers and four track
steel slides. Your chosen hardware is then mounted finishing the building
process.
THE "EXTRAS..."

exciting aspect of designing a custom built kitchen is that you can choose
from many conveniences to make your busiest room more efficient. John Cooper
